AR interpretations of Valdis Bušs paintings

In the spring of 2024, a few people from my course at the academy were given the opportunity to participate in the exhibition 'Valdis Bušs 100'. Valdis Bušs is one of the most important figures in Latvian expressionism painting. This exhibition was a retrospective on his life's work, happening on his 100th birthday. In partnership with 'overly' app, we created our own interpretations of his paintings, which viewers could see on their smartphones. I chose to match the elements of the painting in 3D - the houses, trees, the figure, fence, etc. I added camera movements to make the space feel alive and explorable. On top of it, was an oil painting filter setup made in geometry nodes (addon by Alan Wyatt).
